Glenn takes out 2009 Minor Singles

The final between Glenn Rogers and Tim Waygood  was an eagerly awaited match.

On Sunday 7 March 2010,  in  very windy conditions,  Glenn went to an early lead and held the momentum with a ten point lead on the  18th end.  Tim mounted a valiant comeback clawing his way back to level the points at 26 all on the 32 end. Glenn took a single on the 33rd end and a multiple on the 34th end to take a lead of 30 to 26. Tim fought back taking a single on the 35th end but Glenn’s consistency held out with a single on the final end to take out the title 31 to 27.

A great battle by both players.
